Copper Current Feedthroughs

TYPE XTr-PIC / PIR

Copper F/T insulated with clear glass

  • The KOVAR housing of PIC current feedthroughs may be arc-welded under argon atmosphere to stainless-steel flanges. We advise to use a welding lip of 0,4 mm thickness and 2 mm depth.

  • PIC current feedthroughs have an excellent mechanical resistance.

  • Connection may be achieved by clamping to the straight copper bar or by threaded assembly.

  • WATER COOLING: This feature is only available on the PIR 600 which is produced only on demand. Please let us know your quantity needs so we quote accordingly.

  • We also undertake custom jobs, per customer drawings.

  • XTr feedthroughs can be delivered mounted on KF or CF flanges.
